East Fife Sports Council was delighted to support St Andrews Sailing Club with funding. The
sailing club plans to attract more people to learn to sail at St Andrews, and particularly to widen
access to sailing – as part of its 5 year objectives of its Club Development Plan. The Club is a
voluntary not for profit association, (www.standrewssailing.org) and would like to attract people
from different sections of the community, from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and people
who are not engaged in any form of sport already. It will use the funding to acquire new wetsuits
and buoyancy aids. The EFSC committee look forward to seeing more of this project, and wish
the club all the very best with its plans and development
