East Fife Sports Council is delighted to support Scotscraig Bowling Club with funding. The club has
around 60 playing members and around 25 social members, and participates in competitions held
by: Bowls Scotland, Fife Bowling Association, North East Fife Bowling Association, East of Scotland
Womens Bowling Association and the Tayside Bowling League. These competitions are made-up of
single hand, pairs, triples, fours and senior fours and in most cases are run for both men’s and
women’s sections. Coaching is available at the club for any member from junior to senior. In the past
the club has had bowling as part of the primary school curriculum and it is hoped that this will be
resurrected in the future. The funding will be used to help to buy smaller bowls, which will help
greatly with the aim to offer bowling to juniors. The EFSC committee wish the club the very best in
their aims and with resuming activity again as covid restrictions ease.
