East Fife Sports Council is delighted to support Lundin Bowling Club with funding. The club wished to start a weekly family bowling session at weekends, with coaching available. The aim is to increase the idea of bowling being a family game and not just one for older age groups. Families taking part would not need to be members to begin with as one free taster session followed by visitor rates of £2 per person per session are proposed. Should they then wish to become members they would benefit from the social side of golf in the clubhouse and be able to join in the many activities the club has planned. The funding will be used to supply sets of lighter, smaller bowling balls for juniors. The EFSC committee wish the club the very best in their aims, especially as we recover from covid.
